Boone County, Kentucky will lift its Level One Snow Emergency at midnight on Wednesday, December 3, as road conditions have improved. However, county officials are still urging drivers to exercise caution during the morning commute.

“Snow crews are planning to report in early in the morning on Wednesday to address any areas that have refrozen from today’s melted snowfall,” said Robert Franxman, Boone County Engineer. “Please keep an eye out for potential slick spots, particularly on bridges, overpasses, and on- and off-ramps."

Residents who encounter issues on county-owned roads can report them through the county's public works website at boonecountyky.org/publicworks or by calling 859-334-3600.
