Florence, Kentucky - Beverly "Bo" Howard, born on July 22, 1941, in Corbin, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on July 14, 2025, just days before her 84th birthday. The daughter of Vernon and Hettie Cloyd, Beverly's upbringing in Corbin instilled a strong foundation in her faith, a cornerstone that guided her throughout her life.

Bo was a steadfast member of the Baptist community, first attending Central Baptist Church in Corbin and later finding a spiritual home at Burlington Baptist Church in Northern Kentucky. Her unwavering faith was evident in all aspects of her life, bringing comfort and solace to those around her.

Renowned for her melodious singing voice and love for gospel music, Bo brought happiness to many through her musical talents, infectious laughter, and optimistic spirit. Whether engaging in a round of golf or losing herself in the pages of a good book, Bo embraced life wholeheartedly and radiated that positivity to all she encountered.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Dawn) Barton; her sister, Phyllis (David) Chandler; niece and nephew, Kim (Rob) Mosser and Mark Chandler; great-nieces and nephews, Braylen (Julia) Chandler, Corbin (Makena) Mosser, and Cole Mosser; along with great-great-nieces and nephews, Vivian and Winston Mosser, and Emmaus, Zion, and Saul Chandler.

Bo was preceded in death by her husband, Burney Howard, and her parents, Vernon and Hettie Cloyd.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Burlington location, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.

Bo's final resting place will be at Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky, on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

The memory of Bo will endure through the light, laughter, and enduring faith she shared with those around her, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to know her.
