Randall K. Cooper High School standout Gweny Wessling’s college team won in NCAA Division II softball game on Sunday, Feb. 2

On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Randall K. Cooper High School standout Gweny Wessling’s current college team, the Davis & Elkins Senators, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UNC Pembroke Braves.

The game took place at Purnell Swett High School. This was their first matchup against the Braves this season.

The Senators’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2:30 p.m. at McCrorie Family Stadium against Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.
