Boone County announces public hearing for CDBG closeout

Residents of Boone County, Kentucky, are being informed about the closure process of Community Development Block Grant Project 23-047, marking Year 16 of the Brighton Recovery Center project. This initiative was funded by the Kentucky Community Development Block Grant Program under the administration of the Kentucky Department for Local Government.

A public hearing is scheduled to take place on February 14, 2025, at 10:00 am EST. The venue will be the first-floor Fiscal Court meeting room in the Boone County Administration Building located at 2950 Washington Street, Burlington, Kentucky. The hearing aims to review past fund usage and program performance. Matthew Dowling from Boone County Fiscal Court can be contacted for any questions or comments regarding this project.

The CDBG Program Completion Report (PCR) is available for public review and comment during normal office hours at the office of the County Judge/Executive on the second floor of the Boone County Administration Building. Written comments on both this project and/or the PCR will be accepted until February 13, 2024, at 10:00 am EST.
