The Boone County Planning Commission is advancing its five-year update of the County Comprehensive Plan. The commission has recently adopted the Goals and Objectives for "Our Boone County – Plan 2045," which are available on the project website.
In preparation for updating the plan's chapters, known as "Elements," the project team is gathering existing conditions data from across the county. To facilitate this process, they have organized five public engagement sessions to discuss these conditions within different geographic focus areas. These meetings aim to help form recommendations for all elements of the plan.
The meetings will be conducted in an open house format from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, allowing attendees to join at their convenience.
