More than 180 cardiac surgeons, physicians, and advanced practice professionals from around the world are expected to gather in Northern Kentucky next month for the Endoscopic Cardiac Surgeons Club 2025 Annual Meeting. The event will take place at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Training and Education Center from September 4 through September 6.
Dr. Mario Castillo-Sang, a cardiac surgeon at St. Elizabeth and a founding member of the Endoscopic Cardiac Surgeons Club, said, “The surgeons attending this conference are on the cutting edge of cardiac care. Their patients benefit from this—as totally endoscopic minimally invasive procedures lead to better outcomes and faster recovery.”
The meeting will focus on several areas: advances in minimally invasive valve surgery techniques, global collaboration among experts in cardiac surgery, innovative research impacting diagnostics and patient recovery, and multidisciplinary discussions aimed at improving care team coordination.
Participants will also hear presentations from leaders at St. Elizabeth Healthcare and have opportunities for networking activities, including attending a Cincinnati Reds game.
Dr. Castillo-Sang added, “We’re not just participating in the future of heart surgery – we’re defining it.”
