Boone County Extension announces opening date for 2026 4-H enrollment
Bethany N. Abdon, Extension Staff Assistant | University of Kentucky Boone County Extension Office Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture

The Boone County Extension Office has announced that enrollment for the 2026 4-H program will open on September 1, 2025. Current members are reminded that their 2025 enrollment will expire on August 31, and they must complete a new enrollment form to remain active in the program. This step is necessary for continued participation in monthly newsletters, events, and eligibility for the Boone County Fair as a 4-H member.

The latest update from the Extension Office also includes information about upcoming programs and events, club news, a recap of the recent Boone County Fair, and a recipe for easy granola bars.

Community members interested in staying informed about local 4-H activities can follow Boone County 4-H on Facebook at @BooneCounty4H. The broader Extension Office shares updates across several social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Bluesky, and YouTube under the handle @BooneKYExt.
