On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Randall K. Cooper High School standout Gweny Wessling’s college team lost in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Randall K. Cooper High School standout Gweny Wessling’s current college team, the Davis & Elkins Senators, lost 11-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.

The game took place at McCrorie Family Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bears this season.

The Senators’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at Dorothy Neely Softball Complex against Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters.
