Having graduated from Boone County High School in 1973, Kenny excelled both academically and athletically, demonstrating his leadership abilities as class president and as a standout football player. His educational journey at Northern Kentucky University led him to pursue a career in education at Newport Middle School and later transition into law after earning his degree from Chase Law School.
Throughout his professional life, Kenny remained committed to serving his community, not only through his legal career but also by contributing to the Boone County Planning and Zoning Commission. His dedication to justice was matched by his deep love for his family and an unwavering support for his children.
A dedicated coach and sports enthusiast, Kenny found joy in coaching football, following his son Brady's athletic endeavors, and passionately supporting teams such as the Cincinnati Bengals, Reds, and UK athletics. He also enjoyed attending music events, with a particular love for bands like the Beach Boys, Elvis, The Doors, and The Eagles.
Kenny leaves behind his beloved wife of 32 years, Julie, along with his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and cherished furry companions. A visitation and funeral service will be held at the First Church of Christ, followed by interment at Union-Rice Cemetery.
