Ronald “Gregg” VanArsdale, 64, of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, April 20, 2025. Gregg dedicated 30 years to Stewart Filmscreen as a respected Machinist/Engineer, known not only for his work ethic but also for the kindness and warmth he exuded.

An ardent supporter of the Cincinnati Bengals, Reds, and University of Kentucky, Gregg’s love for sports was matched by his passion for outdoor activities like fishing, camping, and boating at Lake Cumberland. However, his most treasured moments were spent with his family, especially by the fire pit or pool, creating lasting memories with his grandchildren, known affectionately as “Pawpaw.”

Gregg's magnetic personality drew people toward him, making everyone feel welcomed and valued. His presence illuminated any gathering, leaving a lasting impact on those he encountered.

Gregg is survived by his devoted wife of almost 46 years, Diana VanArsdale; children Amanda, Nick (Jennifer), and Molly (Josh); grandchildren Baylee, Carter, Zack, Mason, and baby Norah; brother Mark (Terry) VanArsdale; sister Michelle Sanders; step-mother Bonnie VanArsdale; beloved dogs Callie and Lucy; and numerous family members and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on April 24, 2025, at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, KY, followed by words of remembrance. Online condolences can be shared at www.linnemannfuneralhomes.com, as the memory of Ronald “Gregg” VanArsdale’s kindness and family values live on.
