Wanda Lou Evans, Dedicated Matriarch and Beloved Family Member, Passes Away at 84

Wanda Lou Evans, a beloved sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 84. Born in Strunk, Kentucky, she was known for her kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion to family. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, great-grandson, and siblings. She is survived by her daughters Lisa Evans Lane and Misty Madison, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brother-in-law, and numerous extended family members and friends.

Wanda cherished family gatherings and was known for her love of cooking, especially her famous pumpkin pie. Her selfless and graceful presence will be deeply missed. A visitation and service will be held at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, Kentucky, with burial at Highland Cemetery.
