Mary A. Lane, 74, of Union, KY, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025. Born on June 9, 1950, in Covington, KY, Mary dedicated 22 years to teaching in the Boone County School System at Kelly Elementary and Stephens Elementary. A long-time parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Burlington, KY, she inspired countless students, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.

Outside the classroom, Mary found joy in the simple wonders of life, whether walking, reading, or stargazing. She had a passion for Doctor Who and science fiction, nurturing her adventurous spirit. Karaoke and dancing were among her favorite pastimes, with music bringing immense joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Marie, and her husband, Richard Lane. Mary is survived by her son, Mark Daniels; daughter, Kelly Green; brother, Vic Boelscher; and grandchildren: Sylvia, Austin, Wendy, Luke, and Lorelei.

A visitation will be held on April 6, 2025, at Linnemann Funeral Homes and Event Center, with a Mass of Christian Burial on April 7 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.
