Billy Lee Pelphrey, aged 92, of Burlington, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2025. He was born on December 11, 1932, in Paintsville, Kentucky, to the late Frank and Murzie (VanHoose) Pelphrey. Billy was married to Jessie Lee Hall for almost 70 years until her passing in 2022. He is preceded in death by his siblings Earl, David Paris, Olga, Dick, Christine, and Benny.

Survived by his sister Maxine Blair, children Morissia (Michael) Ray, Randy (Amy) Pelphrey, Jerry (Lori) Pelphrey, and Belinda Euliss, as well as 8 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Billy was a respected master carpenter and owner of Pelphrey Construction. He built homes in the Dayton, Ohio area before retiring. Known for his hard work, humility, and love, Billy enjoyed family time, nature, playing pool, woodworking, Ford vehicles, country cooking, and watching westerns.

Billy's unwavering faith and love for Jesus Christ were central to his life. He shared his faith and served the Lord throughout his life, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. Remembered fondly by his family, Billy will be deeply missed.

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, March 15, at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, Kentucky, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Burlington Cemetery after the service.
